Way Too Many Spaces
Posted on July 9th, 2009 3 comments[Cedar City, Utah]
I know exactly what comments I’m going to get on this one because folks with fifth wheels need somewhere to park. But this person took it to the extreme by parking across multiple rows, not just multiple spaces. I count at least seven spaces rendered unparkable by this parking job, whereas the figure should have been about five had he parked on a single row.

Moron, that's not a "fifth wheel" it's a TRAILER. Fifth wheels hook up in a truck bed, not on a "bumper hitch".

Actually, "fifth-wheel" refers to trailers that hook up similarly to a Semi truck/trailer… a 5th wheel plate is bolted into the bed of the truck. The kingpin (welded onto the nose of the trailer) rests and is locked into in the center of the plate.
A trailer that "hooks into the truck bed" is referred to as a gooseneck… much the same as a bumper pull, except the ball hitch is in the center of the truck bed rather than hanging out by the bumper. If you're going to be rude, you could at least have your facts straight.
