Another Wal-Mart Truck
Posted on June 11th, 2009 16 commentsWhat is it with trucks and Wal-Mart parking lots? This guy obviously has an over-inflated sense of self-entitlement. If you can’t tell, he’s parked in the no parking zone adjacent to the store where they gather the shopping carts.

Ok, first off I CANNOT believe that you have enough time to TAKE PICTURES and then POST them on a website like this! Who the HELL are you? I just wanted to comment on your AWESOME website and tell you that I am a CONSTRUCTION WORKER doing a remodel at that Walmart, and yes we have the RIGHT to park anywhere we want to ENSURE dumbasses like YOU don’t get hurt on the construction zone. I will be there again and I WILL be parked in the same spot. Ask for the owner of that truck and let’s see how big of a BAD ASS you are you chicken shit.

Yay! Our first physical threat! For those who want to keep track, we get one point for physical threats, two points for lawsuit threats and three points for death threats. Perhaps we’ll keep a running tally in the sidebar or something.

So just because you are doing construction you feel the need to park anywhere? So if I’m working on my house, can I park my car in my neighbors yard so other people don’t get hurt? Now if a cart happens to hit your car are you going to get mad at walmart people? If your answer was yes than maybe you shouldn’t park there. Just to let you know writing in all caps doesn’t really intimidate people.

I do react poorly to someone leaving a note on my truck calling me a jackass. I’m sure all of you would too. I’m just trying to do my job like anyone else. I haul large and heavy equipment and have to park close to the doors. As for the comments of parking in your neighbor’s driveway to work on your own house, guess if it is closer to your house then it might work. Not really sure what you were trying to prove there; Walmart does own the entire property right? I am way on the far side of the parking lot, obviously there are not cars nearby. All the other construction trucks are parked nearby, just convenietly out of the picture. Lots of other trucks are on this that are working on the same job. We are going to continue to look for our trucks on here. Kinda cool to piss you people off and get some fame. Thanks guys. This really is actually a funny idea. I just don’t like being called a jackass. But I have been called worse! LOL. Thanks chicken shits!

Not private property June 14th, 2009 at 12:42 am
So you guys ever stop and think that Walmart is not a public place? You state you can take photos all you want on public property? Since when is Walmart public property? Pretty sure that is not a state park or anything right? Sounds like all you jackasses think you’re attorneys don’t you? Most these pictures are in Walmart and you even state to go to Walmart to find bad parking jobs. I’m going to make my Walmart manager aware of these statements. I think they will find it very interesting.

Wow, haven’t been on here in a few days. Looks like this post inspired some healthy debate. The last commenter made an excellent point. Let it be noted that parking lots are generally considered public thoroughfares. For example, a police officer can still issue citations in a store’s parking lot for speeding, running stop signs, reckless driving, etc. It should also be noted that, even on private property, photos can generally still be taken as long as it’s visible from a public place. Think of all the photos of private property on Google Maps Street View, for instance. What it comes down to is that no reasonable person is going to expect a great degree of privacy in a Wal-Mart parking lot because of the public nature of the thoroughfare. In fact, this site could publish photos of vehicles taken in private driveways if they were visible from the street, but we don’t because (a) those parking jobs don’t affect anyone else and (b) we don’t want to deal with the drama.

actually the law that allows you to take photos doesn’t apply to “public places” it applies to situations that are “in the normal view of the public.” Meaning that if whatever you doing is in plain view of the “public” it’s okay. This is why you can’t sue Google if its Street View camera catches you looking out the window of your house. And why Dick Clark doesn’t have to get permission to show video images of the crazy new year’s partiers on “private” balconies in NYC. So whether or not Walmart is private property or a public thoroughfare doesn’t matter. You can take pictures inside walmart (which is not a thoroughfare) and be legal.

apparently the owner needs a wide birth to protect us from his ego. No it looks like he is the type to kiss his truck goodnight and has more respect for his truck then human beings. Well Mr Hillbilly delight there is more to life then a pickemup truck. I think that is a mighty shiny truck for construction. Most real construction workers i know drive beat up scratched up trucks because they have common sense to know that it will get oh my god im gonna say it “a scratch”. So if i bang a shopping cart into your truck its ok its a work truck you have permission to park it there and since you have permission insurance will cover it. Use the money you spent on the truck upgrades to upgrade your intellegence

ignore above post just venting but it is funny though

Really, was that truck really parked there to keep other people safe? or does it just belong to someone who thinks he is better than everyone else!!! I have gone to Walmart, walking with crutches, parked in a normal parking space, and been in and out of the store BEFORE the jackweeds who think they are “just going to be a minute” and they are parked in the ‘no parking’ striped off spaces. Who the hell are you to think that you are so entitled to park up against the sidewalk while NORMAL, average, nice, decent folks park in the normal parking lot where you are supposed to park!

the first comment about parking it so he could protect himself and workers is a valid point i do that on a regular basis as im a emt and fire fighter and often respond to calls in my personal car when not on duty. i had my car posted on a similar website because i was parked in the crosswalk of a wal-mart because we received a 911 call for a person having a heart attack in wal-mart i do not leave my emergency lights on when i arrive at a call, but i do have state issued ff plates which the person kindly decided to black out. but anyways all im saying is yes sometimes a person in the emergency field and construction will park there cars to create a barrier between them and traffic in all 50 states there is actually an exclusion permitting us to do it, in illinios if u hit a construction worker working on the road its a couple grand in fines and a minimum of 5 yrs in prison or something like that. and to be honest if the wal-mart management told him he could park there then there really isnt a issue. in my town there is a officer in wal-mart from 10pm to 6am and they often will park there cars on the curb all night in front of the store, all im saying there is the possibility of him having a legitimate reason for parking there or he has gotten permission.

holy shit …
it’s so funny to read comment’s on those who are unable to park they’r own vehicule.
1st of all : the lines on the pavements is not for those jerk who can walk in a construction zone, those lines are PEDESTRIANS zone, to get they’r carrier
2nd i dont see any construction zone on that picture !
3th NO it’s not LEGAL to park your buisiness truck next to the store while you work inside …. the only “vehicule” who’s allowed to park next to the store are EMERGENCY VEHICULES ! period !
if i was working at that store, for the safety of EVERY BODY, including you, i will tow your truck at your charge !

Vehicle. The word is vehicle. You misspelled it more than once or I wouldn’t have said anything.
